The Long Island Pointing Dog & Field Trial Club, established in 2000 and proudly recognized by the AKC, is dedicated to supporting the training and development of pointing breed dogs and their handlers. Based in Suffolk County on eastern Long Island, we specialize in field obedience, fieldwork, and proper handling techniques for upland hunting, AKC hunt tests and field trials across the nation, in which our members frequently compete. Whether you're new to the sport or have years of experience, our club offers a supportive community to help you and your dog become a better team.
